Nice shave Jonathan. Sweet sweet razor in the Aristocrat. One of my next razors will be gold. Good luck with the house work. I would suggest aeration 1x a year or so and mulching of the lawn for convenience. Aeration will break through thatch layer and get some water and air to roots. As with shaving, the tool matters. Get a good mulching mower if you can unless you got one. I have a Honda mower for past 11 years and it is worth it with dual blade system. Although, If you mow more than 1 a week between then you’re bagging. Yea Mex food better with cheddar and light cilantro.

I have a Milord from the same period as your Aristocrat. I am not sure if the gap is the same, but it’s a fantastic shave - always smooth and easy. I’d love a New Deluxe at some point as well. I don’t think any of the News shaved poorly.

Nice review as always! Glad to hear the scent notes are likeable. When I heard the name I thought of what a Roman Soldier or Centurions armpits might smell like after a long march, or before a battle with barbarians, and it seems that was not the intent. Though who knows, maybe that would appeal to some!😜

Gillette New Deluxe Aristocrat?! This may be my first time hearing of such a razor. That aristocrat you have may been my favorite vintage tto. Close call between that and the later model super adjustables with the black plastic undercarriage. Spearhead has produced some bangers and I’m always interested in scents they create/re-create. Preciate ya holding down the channel.
