Time to put in the electrics and make this thing move.
Not my favourite part of the builds. I find the electrics interesting, but kinda fiddly and not really my wheel house. I get frustrated with it pretty quick.
However I got the rig to a state that aloud me to take it to a local RC truck day and test run it and see how it did.
I had some really nice compliments on it. It was a cool time at the truck day. I have more footage of the trucks on display there, I just need to do a quick edit on it.

Thanks mate. I gave a fellow enthusiast the controller so I could film it and it really did fit in quite well with the other models.

It was very satisfying to see the chassis moving around your garden, and even more so to see the truck running at the show. I can´t wait to see it with th battery tucked away in its tank and the interior fitted - great stuff!

MAGNIFICENCE!!!!!! Your the best builder I have seen. Love the way your mind and skills work together. Your 50's frieghtliner is way better than the other trucks at the show. Looking forward to seeing the excavator running now. Thank you for sharing your talent and builds. GOD BLESS YOU

You’re lucky you got a cool rc park with the coolest rig I seen in the video. Interested to hear the feedback on the XR4 radio. That’s a killer price, especially considering it came from RC4WD. Great job mate!

Cheers brother. I'll do more on the XR4 TX. I want to mod it but the electrics hav'nt turned up yet. I've used them before on the Rust Never Sleeps Rat Rod build.

@@OldIronRC can you mess with the firmware on these? You know there’s that one radio around $50 you can flash firmware and make it like a 6-8 ch TX for less than $75 which is killer. But a 4ch at that price is awesome. Will check it out once you post it

@@colossalbigfoot256 I am not sure about the firmware on them. I just change the 4th channel switch with a temporary contact switch to work with the multifunction unit. This time I am going to try an encoder on the forth channel. Should be fun experiment.

Thanks Mark! The problem with perfect paint is scratching it. I like them and appreciate the work & cost that goes into them, but my preference is crustyness.
