Doing a bit more detailing on the chassis. Adding an old school chain rack inspired by one of the old photos I am using as a reference for the model build.

The chains look the part for sure. All the devilish details are bringing the beast to life. Love it!

Cheers mate. I enjoyed adding that detail, it was a pretty basic thing to fab up and it looks right in place I think.

Thanks mate. It'll be cool to see it moving. The acid test to see if Tamiya chassis can handle the extra weight.

Old iron you have out done yourself again. It's amazing how well you pay attention to detail and make the parts from scratch that is a perfect match. Brilliant talent you have. I can't way untill you do the mirrors. God Bless you and family can't wait for the next video

Thank you very much Danny. I'm hoping the more I busy the eye with details the less likely folks will notice the rough edges of the build.

I love the look of the bracket and the chains. It´s great how the universe tends to send you just the bit of metal that you need, such as the bumper offcuts being great candidates for the rear view mirrors...

It never fails Del, the Universe always supplies open minds eh. Sitting around daydreaming pays off sometimes. I really have lucked out on this build.

Such a nice addition to the project like the added touch or it being worn in where the hooks are

I'm glade you appreciate the aged look too. For me it's a bit like adding a story to the model. I can't help but imagine what kind of life the truck had, even though I know it's a fresh built toy.

Your builds are always a joy. YES I wanna see a chain rack added. No I don't want this build to end. LOL we're like a bunch of spoiled children out here.. Just watched a second time. "Hadn't done the mirrors yet because the metal hadn't spoke to me." And again there is a little thing heard or seen on Old Iron's videos that redefines this as art.

Thanks Mike. I tend to have this strange concept of I'll know it when I see it', which allows me to start making something when I'm not sure how to finish it. It's a bummer this build will finish soon, but there is always another build.
