Wowee , what a cruiser!!

It's a custom job. The rear fenders have been converted to 1955 Imperial fenders with the chrome lights on top, and the front grille is from a 1954 DeSoto. Also the side two-tone moldings were modified to alter its original design. Virgil M. Exner supervised design of all 1955-1961 DeSoto cars of the Forward Look. He did a great job! This custom job only succeeds as a variation on his design themes. The "chrome teeth" grille in front was designed by Exner for all DeSoto cars from 1951 to 1955, although he did not design the 1951-54 model bodies.

That has to be a custom job, looks more like an Imperial than a Desoto.

De Soto's always remind me of Groucho Marx, he advertised them!
