This is a unique and rare car that has been kept completely original but has been mechanically restored, received complete new interior including upholstery, door panels, dash board and carpets, re-chromed bumpers, polished stainless trim, and power front disc brakes have been added to enhance safety.
The Olds 98 starts immediately, drives effortlessly on 4 new tires, all power windows operate.

"1959 Oldsmobile 98 Holiday Scenicoupe
This beauty was discovered in 2020 as part of the @CentralCoastBarnfinds. She
had been sitting for many years and was completely original and unmolested.
The de Michele family of Ladera Ranch set about performing a complete
mechanical restoration of this unique vehicle at cost of over $50K.

What's great to see is the correct hubcaps on the Olds. In my old hood on the southwest side of Detroit, gangs were known to steal caps. The guy across the street had the house & backyard full of caps & eventually went to prison for 3 years for Grand Theft Auto.

PRETTY CAR. ALL OF GM'S 1959 CARS WERE REALLY QUITE BEAUTIFUL. MY FAVORITE IS THE 1959 BONNEVILLE. FROM THE DIVIDED GRILLE to the beautiful double tail fin rear, it was georgeous. It was one of GM'S best years for design

Nice car I love late 50's Oldsmobiles. But I wonder why after rebuilding the engine they did not paint it the original color Oldsmobile 394cid Rocket engines were Green not Blue. But that I can over look as long as it has a 1959 Olds Rocket engine in it and not another small block Chevy swap.
