nice job . a little late now but i noticed them after market splash parts you had to trim is because the assembly /welding process at repop place puts them together incorrectly compared to factory pieces . the overly sequence is different so i un did there spot welds and re assembled in same order as OG and then they fit just fine!

man thats good to know for future. i was really disappointed in those pieces when i went to install them

Sorry to hear about everyone getting Covid, hope you all get back to normal soon. My Wife and I also picked it up and we are both retired and do very little running out and still picked it up. My Wife was a RN for 45 years and used to take care of all the Flu, Scars and all the other nasty stuff for the Hospital so she understands too much like you...... The car looks great, as always and I hope you and the Guys can get back to working at 100% I should have your Guys come up to NYS and help me on my 64 :-)

Yes Ed. I've been working in radiology for 20 years come 2021. I've worked at all the big name hospitals in the Texas medical center. From level 1 trauma to nursing homes. Seen plenty. We stayed home also. I've seen my 82yr old dad once since March. Covid is definitely a real thing but I also don't agree with the way its been politicized. Just ready for a new year. A fresh start and good things to come!!

@@lonestarlows I just hope this Vaccine works and stops the spread so we can feel a little safer. And yes they are making this into a Political thing...... Sorry that you have not been able to see your Dad for so long.

Was it very hard to get those fenders off? Im getting ready to take mine off and I can pretty much see all the bolts, just wondering if there are any curveballs i need to look out for.
@lonestarlows2 жыл бұрын
Easier to take the wheel off. And take the fender and wheel well off as 1. Then put them in the grass and separate them

It's frustrating when you buy new parts but the old parts fit better. I learned to look past some of the ugliness and use the original when possible. Glad you n the fam are well here's to a productive new year.🙌🍻

Man some of the stuff that comes in on a boat should be outlawed. Thanks for watching

Nice work! So fresh n so clean bro! On the valance is it clips or bolts that hold up the sides? I'm assembling my 64's front end and forgot lol.
@lonestarlows3 жыл бұрын
64 is alot easier to me. It uses those j clips and 5/16 tapered pointed bolts. Usually sold in a kit called front end sheet metal bolt kit or something similar to that
@davepelaez11923 жыл бұрын
@@lonestarlows right on ty. Ya I have the hardware kit already.

@@lonestarlows can i ask how do you select who car gets worked on ?i understand that it one at a time ,but i would like to know the selection process, with the work your doing i know ppl like my self is begging for you to their work
@lonestarlows3 жыл бұрын
This car is only the 2nd paying customer. All the other stuff was for myself or friends. So there really isn't a selection process. I do this stuff in my backyard. It's not a "shop"
