Reminds me a lot of my 67 Buick Special Deluxe bought new by my great grandparents in K code Aqua Mist and L code Shadow Turquoise. I would trash the Air Shocks. I ran them in CA for about 10 years. Get a set of drag bags by Air Lift its day and night so much better on Socal freeways.

Can't believe you risked 2 lives with the jack. They can fail at any time so use some proper axle stands any time you get under the car. There are 4 places to set up the axle stands. Best use a chunk of timber between the stand and the jack positioCutlasdn so you don't scrape the metal of the jacking point. Good luck with your new toy. I have a '65 Cutlass which is great fun. The only down side is the lack of part options combined with the cost if getting stuff to me in New Zealand. Doubles the cost or more!
