Yes, in this case, I assumed the mirrors that were on the doors when I got the car were the original mirrors (they looked the same). But found out later they were off a Mustang from the same era! Woops! But in the end, it turned out fantastic, which is the important thing :)

Hi Paul, because that is all original paint on the interior. I believe you keep it original to prove that this car has never had rust or rust repair. Original paint proves that beyond a shadow of dought. It all gets covered up anyway, but you can't duplicate originality.
