Thanksfor the update, it's good to see the crashed one sat on the jig and looking good. It really is a survivor now and will be a welcome addition to the classic car world, it has quite a story to tell.

Really enjoying your videos. Many thanks for posting them. I also really appreciate you sharing all of the finer details like the parts and the stories behind them. I saw my fitst '69 Z-28 in 1969 when I was a school boy. It had a dramatic effect on me that only another true enthusiast could appreciate. It set me off on a hobby and career that has lasted for 55 years and counting!

1967 Camaro r/s s/s project were working on and need your help - 1st off on the rain gutters where they meet at the top of the A-pillar there's a clip (cover) how do you attach these ? 2nd off , on the quarter fender panels (at the top window edge) in the back pointed corner , there's a bias edge "that the factory uses I believe" (seam sealer) how do you deal with this area ? do you weld it ? - it does receive final paint , do you have a video that shows work on this. thank you

For the 69 Camaro, is the new glass original or repop with the date codes requested? I have Jan/Feb soft ray tinted original driver and passenger door glass off my 69 if you are interested.

I see you left a rear antenna hole in the quarter panel of the blue car, but you’re running a rear spoiler? Usually the antenna will be in the right front fender.

The car came from the factory with the rear antenna. I have the original sales invoice that shows the antenna order, and the add for the dealer installed cowl hood and rear spoiler. So that is all original from both the way the car was ordered and dealer installed when new

You will need to change the float bowl bolts on the crossram carbs, original were flat head bolts not hex head

I remember you already went through with Blue Car's engine before you started build it. Also Why don't you finish one Z before working on another one?
@digitalpizza1

I actually have not been working on any of the cars lately, they have all been in the body shop getting all the bodywork and paint done (except the Blue one) while I have been finishing a couple of bikes that I have got to finish before I dive into the cars. Any work that has been done up to this point has been done by others. So I am finishing the bikes now and will be starting to really rock and roll on all three of these cars producing videos on a regular basis on all three.

Did a 69 headliner without help or experience, just YT. Not happy with it but hoping someone can straighten it out more later. Yes, totally Do not recommend DIY.

Shouldn’t have listened to the body man. He knew it would take hrs and hrs to make it fit thus making him more $.😂 Use as much original sheet metal as possible even if you have to use part of an aftermarket fender for your patch. I would never do a headliner!

Yes, I agree. That is why I am putting the fender back on. The new body guy made the fender perfect with virtually no bondo or filler. he worked the metal back to perfection :)

I would also replace the Holley fuel bowl mounting bolts to the factory slots. I would never go with those on my 70 Z/28 4 spd car. It doesn’t take much to seal the fuel bowl / metering block gaskets. You don’t need a socket or a nut driver so why Holley changed it, beats me. A slotted bolt head IMO would be cheaper to make than a hex head. As for bumpers. I have my originals on the car and the rear shows the nickel a bit. But I WILL NOT send mine out to get rechromed because I’d be worried that I wouldn’t get mine back with all the clowns in the working industry today. 😂 I purchased my 70 Z/28 in 1981 from the original owner. In 74 I purchased a 1968 Z/28 while in College, British green with white stripes and black interior. A friend of mine is the current owner. Glad to hear more videos coming again. 😊

Thank you John. I am aware of the bolt/screws on the carbs. I will be replacing those to the correct flat screws for sure. That is very cool on your other cars. It's funny, I ALSO purchased an original owner 70 Z 4 speed around that same time! It was hugger orange with black stripes and black standard interior. Paid 4500.00 for it. Wish I still had it :( . That is one that got away :)
