Hey Callahan, you mentioned the wood floor in the back in the beginning of the viseo and wondered how they got the floor in. It doesn't come theough the windshield area. Commercial Cadillac chassis are sold feom the windshield forward with the full chassis exposed. The hearse secrion of all these cars are full custom coachwork.

I'm aware of that, but that still poses the question of when the wood floor was installed prior to the windshield, because that is the only opening it would have fit through, or prior to the roof.

@callahansgarage that's just it: there was no roof, doors or rear section on the car, just a bare frame from the A pillar back.

@callahansgarage I used to have a picture of how they sent it, but I can't find it anymore. Picture a straight truck fleet package, without the doors or the back of the cab. The bumpers, seats, etc came in a box with the chassis.

@callahansgarage actually, the early 70's cars didn't even come with the a pillars on them. Search cadillac commercial chassis images and you'll see what I mean. It's pretty cool how they did them.

@@roberthunt7491 I'm fully aware of how Cadillac sells the cars. The coach builder still has to install the floor and the roof though, and i'm questioning the order and process.
