Howdy everyone, thank you for joining us again for another episode of Witty’s Garage.
Today’s episode were going to be sanding down and coating the front of the chassis. This was no easy feat. I'm very happy with the results. Looking forward to doing this for the entire chassis. Many more episodes to come. Stay tuned.

Dude its so worth it. Saved hours upon hours of work off my life. Definitely get one. Contour SCT with 40grit drum & disk is what I used.

I must say I like that coating, I'm going to have to remove the whole body from my frame in order to get the cab fixed it is rusted very bad! Also, I found out the motor is a 390 with the same transmission as yours.

The coating went on very well and its really holding up great. Its been 2 weeks since that was filmed. I will have to do an update a few videos from now to show how it is. Definitely worth the money. That 390 is an excellent motor. They were very underpowered due to the smog era but can easily get more HP. I know your planning on doing that Inline6 which will be great too. If my 360 has problems like cracks I might buy that 390 from ya if you dont have any plans. =)

I agree with Ben! Go with the Zombie Apocalypse spikes. You will never be sorry. Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

Are you going to do the rest of the frame? Would hate for the rest of the frame to get worse with rust and cause issues down the road. Looks good though!

Yep. I’m planning on lifting the cab and bed and doing the entire frame and suspension. Got sick this week so I didn’t finish editing for last Fridays episode. Will get it out as soon as I can. 🤘🏻😎

I like that coating. Do they make it in spray form as I'm hot garbage with a brush lol! How do the Eastwood Surface tool grinding wheels hold up?

It is able to be brushed, rolled, or sprayed. I just didn't have a compressor or spray gun good enough to throw the thick stuff around. Otherwise I would have rather done that to make it an even finish. I gobbed it on in a few spots and you can tell with the drip lines. But this truck aint goin to SEMA so I dont care. lol
