This was my favorite pinball machine back in the mid 1970's. There was a cool game room i'd hang around at in Groveland, CA.

We owned this machine back in the late 70's when I was a kid. I played it all the time. I thought it was so cool that we actually owned a real pinball machine. Thanks for posting this video!

Fun machine and this one looks great. Always glad to see these treasures being restored. Spanish Eyes used to be on location at San Mateo Billiards on El Camino Real in the SF Bay Area the in early-mid 70's. My friend Mitch and I used to hitchhike there and we played this one a lot. The pop bumper at the bottom drain set it apart from other machines out at that time. I still remember hearing "Very Superstitious" by Stevie Wonder playing in the background when we there.

Turned out great. I enjoyed this series of videos that showed a handful of steps you took along the way as you restored it. I hope there's more in the future.

very cool thanks for sharing I just brought one on the weekend and its uber cool! Have been trying to sort whether the extra ball means more than 1 ball at once or just replays...

It just means you get a replay at the end of the ball. I think there were one or two EM games (electromechanical, before they used computer boards in them) that did multiball, but almost all of them didn't.

Granada was a whole 'nother machine. These two machines did not compare except for the artwork. Luckily I played Spanish Eyes first and enjoyed that before I went hard core on Granada.

Hi there we have this game but it only plays 1 ball how do you make it play 3 or 5 balls please ?

Hi Nick; There isn't a setting to make it play 1 ball it must have some sort of error, the ball count unit must not be working properly... it's a stepper unit and if the coils don't move it up and down cleanly it won't ever count the balls right. You have to take the ball count unit apart and oil it.

@@LyonsArcade the ball count unit the grease had gone hard so my pinball guy ungummed and greased it up I thought it was going ok
