While out on a cruise this weekend I found myself behind this exact car in Oyster Bay, Long Island. I must have followed it for about 10 miles. It was that beautiful! And the smell coming from that exhaust just took me back to memories when these Italian cars roamed the streets of Europe!

Original airbox took cold air from front and less dirt into engine than those trumpets - worth refitting.

A gasket seal in a carb sounds to be allowing airflow along with the pulses of the cylinder. Rebuilding the factory carbs or just hunting down the exact area with sonic ears, or a rubber tube hose and you ear. I ADORE Lancia and especially the Fulvia, ANY SERIES.

By the way, that car has 2 double throat carbs (weber) with trumpets, so it should have more than 100 hp.. It came out of the factory with a normal air filter which decreases the potentials of the engine..
