I don't think so, sorry. Do you have a copy of the Morini workshop manual? It's available on-line if you have a good search. Between the manual and the instructions that would come with a new timing strobe, you should be able to work it out.

hi paul , yes i've got the morini manual, but my pick up is not original and there's no marks on it and i've never used a strobo. by the way thank u for the answer

Hi Paul.We rebuilt a 500 morini motor recently.all the timing marks are set .On the flywheel we timed it with a strobe on the ANT marking when it lined up with the cam and crankcase mark on top. from idle to 5000 revs the strobe doesn't indicate any sort of advance .Am I using the right flywheel marking and am I strobing it in the correct place ?The bike appears to rev quite readily but on the road it misfires and hiccups etc which leeds me to think this could be an advance issue.I have ordered 2 new transducers from north leicester which I should be receiving next week.I believe the advance takes place in the transducers.

@@markvandenberg6852 The advance curve is an interaction between the waveform from the pickup and the trigger voltage of the ignition boxes. Where did your static timing marks end up?

@@markvandenberg6852 I am having exactly the same problem with a MM 125H and the problem has de-generated to the point that the engine will tick-over at 1,300 - 1,400 rpm, but as soon as the throttle is opened, the 'ANT' mark when strobed moves further to the right, rather than my expectation to move to the left to align with the centre of the camshaft as the spark is advanced. Crank rotation is clockwise and at tickover the 'PMS' mark on the rotor aligns with the camshaft centre, not the 'ANT' mark. Because the 125H relies on the ignition trigger coil within the flywheel, there are no details of how to statically time the ignition. The stator is moved clockwise to retard the ignition and conversely, anti-clockwise to advance the ignition timing. Did you manage to solve your problem? How did you cure the fault? Thank you, Bill
