The Cessna Cardinal is a very nice airplane. It is spacious, very stable and easy to fly. It has the best visibility for scenic flights. It is a great IFR platform. Cessna 177 can carry 4 people and is a low maintenance, reliable airplane. The Cardinal can fly up to 14,600 feet and fly over 850 miles. Economy settings use only 7-8 gallons. This later model Cessna Cardinal can fly around 130 knots at 10,000ft.

Thoughtful upgrades. I really like the JPI 930. That is the most important upgrade for me. Most plane upgrades I've seen focus on avionics.

@@aerolife1646 Oh Dear! I hope that didn’t come off wrong… I meant that you and your detailed information is how a great, engaging, marketing video SHOULD be done. With that skill set, you could sell ice cream to Eskimos! I watch a lot of aviation videos and so many, however well intended come off as a choppy picture montage with a monotone narration. Yours are so much better!

Very nice Cardinal...one of my favorite light aircraft. Add a couple of G5's or an Aspen 1000 and you have a great panel.

How did you get a high performance rating from a 177? Was the engine more than 200 hp?

Thank you, it is a very nice Cardinal. I do not remember the exact for this plane but useful load is usually around 800-900lbs for the 177B.

Very nice, but the transponder should be moved to the bottom of the stack. That’s my only nit!

Thank you. In some planes the transponder located at the bottom its better. With the wide open layout of the Cardinal panel I didn't notice any effect having it where it was.
