The 900 was specifically weakend for crumple zone progress. I have loads of real life accident photos of 900's where occupants walked from a significant accident. The only problem c900's have is that ALL cars have grown fat and now a Mini weighs more than a c900. Weight will often win the battle with another vehicle ... but feel reassured that whatever you drive now is considerably lighter than most SUV's (new RR weighs 3 ton compared to 2 ton) and there are a lot more 40 ton lorries on the road.... unless of course you drive one of the seriously heavy vehicles. The good news for saab drivers is visibility is supremely better than most new vehicles and thus you'll probably not be in an accident in the 1st place,
