My thanks to romelovesdan for providing me the DVD files used for this project. I've enhanced the broadcast recording of the 1978 Week 6 Vikings at Seahawks game. The game was on two separate discs, 1st and 2nd halves. I ran both through Topaz to denoise, sharpen and double the framerate, achieving a very nice cleanup. I then took those enhancements and applied color-correction in Da Vinci Resolve, to absolutely STUNNING results. You can see the original shots and post enhancement/color here -- imgbox.com/g/fMFVtIwxH2 -- VERY impressed with this one.

This brings back so many wonderful childhood memories of watching football in the 70's. Thank you for this. I can't express how much I appreciate your efforts and your dedication. This was the year I started watching the Vikings. I was 8. I gave them 20 years of being a fan and gave up on them after they choked away the NFC Championship against the Falcons, the game known locally as "The Take a Knee Game" or "The Tragedy of the Crying Blondes" (the paper caught a picture of three hot girls weeping). It took a few years to really divorce myself from them, but now, 45 years later, I still watch football but I just want to watch a good game. But finding games like this on KZfaq is very nostalgic. I remember all the names and the stories.

TBH, I never liked the Kingdome. It was fairly dark, dank, the field was terrible astroturf carpet (ruined RB Curt Warner's career), and the sound system sucked. The seats weren't terrible for football, but they were mostly awful for baseball. After the blessed thing was finally imploded, I ended up with a chunk of it as a doorstop for my porch. My tax dollars at work. Agree on the uniforms. The new throwbacks for 2023 are awesome!
