I was born in Romford had some great times in my 20s going to Hollywood’s, secrets, etc... now resembles Eastern Europe, I have not been back in years hate the place now.

Drove into car park in Romford when I got back to my car took me over 40 minutes to get out of the car park because is card only payment now. Makes you so angry felt like crashing the barrier

Romford has always been my Mecca & wish it was back in the 90s when it had Hollywood’s Secrets Ritzy the original Moreland Arms & the fountain that was slowly leaning more than the tower of Pisa😂Oh of course the Romford Circuit for hot hatches to speed round💪

All was well until wrecked by Lakeside which was subsequently wrecked by Blue Water. I used to work in Dixons Romford on Saturdays 1987 and this store took the most turnover of any Dixons apart from Oxford Street.

Used to get the train from Shenfield on a Saturday an spend all day ag the market an go in Downtown records as I got older I used to drink in the Bull an the Lamb an go clubbing in the Reservation it was the 80,s!

In the last 5yrs, it has finally fallen, like Ilford & Barking before it, as the crap from greater london creaps outward. Now full of delivery riders, roma gypsies, albanians and mandem roadmen, with their machete's 😔
