Had a brand new 1984 Dodge "Colt" GTS Turbo back in the 80s..wish I still had the car today..it did sterling service for me from Arkansas to Suffolk (UK) and Texas, lost it to a terminal North Texas hailstorm in 1990... Had the Turbo charged engine with a single port fuel Injection system, black plastic aero effects ( black front air dam, side skirts and a spoiler with red accents)..a fun little ride and impossible to find today..

My first car was a 1984 1.2 one of these. They are so rare everyone used to ask me what it was. I modified it a bit and I had it from 2000 to 2003, the owner after me ran it for about another 3 years until it was rusted to badly underneath and was scrapped.

I had a turbo Chevrolet Sprint (sane as the Forsa you Likely have in those parts from Suzuki). Loved that little fast easy to park efficient car. It was an 87 I owned from 1993 to 2010 sold it for double what I paid.

Crazy To find one Here in New York....That was my first Car in 89" in Red, i hook it up real nice with Supra Rings and wide Tires have Champ logo on the Doors

Your car inspired me to buy a Plymouth champ, it has the twin stick transmission and I'm restoring it and the engine is not quite strong enough for me so I'm going to be doing a 4G61T swap

@@SataniaMcDowel immediately blew out the transmission, shop I did the swap with mated the original tranny to a 4g61T from an eclipse and it made too much power for the tranny

Just watched your video and am blown away. Yes, I still have this thing. I have fitted a 4G63 SOHC non turbo in it but have not had it running as yet.

@@osmgarage767 Hey thanks for the reply OSM Garage, great to reach out and we could share knowledge on our project findings. I look forward to seeing your build. My concern for my car, gearbox strength, and maybe next tricky thing is sorting drive shafts.
