Those helmets and facemasks look cooler than today's. Oct 20, 2021.

First game In person, it was a good one. Dominated the whole game, but as usual had to hang on

10:00 There goes Bo, straight to the locker room without shaking Gerry's hand.

RocketShark They have been jerks since 1913. Still rally around their 8 straight wins from pre 1910. Their fans are even more repugnant. Alot of gsmeday fights back in the 80's early 90's between their a-hole students and our fans. Go Blow

@@rfplaw1 It'll be great if they lose at least five games next year in a good all around big ten.

Greg Bell-you were the man! Go Irish indeed.

GoIrishGo2011 Greg Bell had a lot of talent but never seemed to reach his potential at ND.

I was at this game and vividly recall the Michigan touchdown after the ricochet. I tell people about this and they doubt me. Thanx for posting. One other detail.... they actually had too much lighting for this game. You can see that the players cast shadows in multiple directions. it was annoying,,, but I think it helps with this video.

@TheEXTREMESKATING I thought so also... since they were on the same team.

7:12-7:23 We definitely don't see that anymore on any level of football.

Faust was way in over his head at ND. The so-called "Bold Experiment" is better known now as the Gerry Faust Error.

Hated the ND uniforms. Glad Lou changed it.

@TheEXTREMESKATING What do you mean? That was a great hit on Smith by Ricks.

Blatant clip by Michigan on Carter's punt return, at 6:16. Not called by the Big Ten refs, naturally. Some things never change. Between that play, Michigan's ridiculously lucky final TD, and ND's fumble on the goal line, this game should've been far more lopsided than 23-17. ND thoroughly dominated the stats, outgaining Michigan 419-206, including 278-41 in rushing yards. #MichiganSucks

I am a ND fan, but I disagree. The punter turned his back just as he was about to be blocked, so that wasn't clipping.
@johnmanier7968 Жыл бұрын
@@mikegroat7732 A block in the back is a block in the back. Kiel turned around to pursue Carter. There’s no “grace period” when that’s not clipping.
@mikegroat7732 Жыл бұрын
@@johnmanier7968 I wouldn't call it a 'grace period', but if a defender turns his back at the last second, it's not clipping. At least, they don't call it.

Wrong shade of blue. Notre Dame should have stuck with the green jerseys Dan Devine had them wear from 1977-1980

That Rick Rogers touchdown at about 8 mins, is STILL the weirdest play I HAVE EVER SEEN! To have a ball just lay on a man's back, and pop out at the right time, for the player to just swoop in and catch it. Then get hit, do a spin move, which guys don't do anymore, and to score, WAS FLAT OUT AMAZING! And Flaming Irish, how many times do you have to change uniforms, before the world calls it a GIMMICK! GO BLUE!
