fender guitars of this era produce a truly clear and unique sound. And when overdrive is applied to the bass strings, it produces a unique sound that only guitars of this era have. And I love your playing.

@@stevefossen6853 What's probably even crazier is what the shop paid the owner for it. But after all, that's their nature of selling it a shop who then has to sell it again to a new owner, vs. finding that new owner yourself.

80s strats do have a glassy punchy clean sound. Fender needs to bring their vintage electronics/ pickups/ materials back from the dead. Shouldn’t need to pay c/s prices for tone like this. 😅
