1984 Honda atc70 in fire will it run again

today buckets gets into a 1984 Honda ATC70 which was in a bonfire burnt to a crisp. he's going to see if he can get it running today. let's see how tough this Honda engine can be.

Good idea bud. I like that idea. I'll try to find some tires handlebars I think I have a set and get this thing going just to ride it around a bit. Who knows. I might even try to fix that gas tank 😁 Thanks Thanks for watching bud. Many more to come , Buckets

I knew that thing would run soon as the video started lol just need a wire kit for the engine and new carb set up I’m about 13 mins in to the videos and just finished watch your Canfield swap meet video and realized I missed it. When is the next one I seen mini bikes and I build well restor the vintage ones

Thank you for watching bud! Yeah as soon as it turned over when I found it I go. Yeah this will run. It's still exciting to do. I love it! Bring it back to life. Yeah Randolph is coming up at the portage county fairgrounds. Dad really like that one. It's a small show but a lot of cool stuff. You could heat that frame and twist it back. Not sure if the plastics and stuff are still available but if they are it's worth fixing

Yeah but I was thinking about that. I see you can get an aftermarket gas tank. I really like to see this thing going again 😁

@bucketsgarage could you use a bead blaster / tire bazooka to blow the dents out. I've done it to small dents but nothing like yours.

@@bucketsgarage ooooh yeah! at least the engine is useable maybr the trans but i wouldnt trust the back axel! the heat will have made it weak or even brittle from the heat and if water got on it!

@@AdamDeal-KF0PRI oh yeah I would imagine an axle shot. Anything steel but of course maybe half a foot up. I think it may be it didn't get too hot. But yes, the engine is definitely salvageable 😁

Sell it to me I’ll restore it better then the day it came off the Honda assembly line I sold my last one witch I arched the frame 2and a half inches and bought cool billet goodies and meet polished Douglas aluminum rims and flip seat kit sealed in a 125cc kick start hence the seat flip up kit new plastics and after market exhaust and new seat and few other add ons and I miss it daily there a blast

Wow I love it! Sounds like it was a lot of fun. Sound like you did an awesome job. Yeah this thing needs to be brought back to life. They definitely are a lot of fun 😁
