Guys this is the niceset 300D I have found. In this video you will meet "Willy" the original owner. Willy was a machanic, engine builder, and locamotive engineer that maticulously maintened this vehicle himself. He wouldn't let any other mechanic touch it! Man he did an amazing job of keeping this beauty on the road! Enjoy!

I actually got this one back to the shop and it doesn't need one single thing done to it the car is incredible. The previous owner really took care of this one and did all the maintenance along the way.

Nice video and love the car. My 84 300sd has every brochure, window sticker ($40,654 in 1984) all the clear plastic covers the owners manuals were in (both sets) including the manuals and all the little hanging tags on the rear view mirror, plus I got the build sheet when it was made in my home town in Germany, with a signature of the person who wrote down for it to be a USA model. Sorry, I geek out over stuff like this.(and mechanical stuff) I absolutely love the color on this car. I agree with you, mercedes diesel is the best car ever made.👍👍👍

These are actually extremely difficult to find and there's not many of them left in this condition. It took me about a year to find a car like this.

You can still find these and many other examples, they are generally hidden away and never advertised. You can also find advertised ones going for ridiculous money. So if you want to pay the price, they're always available. And some of us would be willing to pay the ridiculous price for a mint example!

Beautiful vehicle. Congratulations . Friend can you tell me if the radiator that cools the automatic transmission is located below and next to the engine cooling radiator. This gearbox is cooled by coolant fluid (water) ??? Or does it work as an intercooler??

The automatic transmission radiator is built in to the main radiator and the hoses attach at the bottom of the main radiator. Yes it is cool with normal coolant.

This is an all original 1984 300D. It's a w123 chassis with the original interior in leather ;)

Would you please tell what you paid for the car? Also, I just recently bought a 1983 300D Turbo Diesel with 45k documented original miles which puts this car to shame if you are interested in seeing it (not selling it ever). It is literally like one you would have driven off the lot in 1983 brand new. I bought it from a high-end dealer in Bellevue, WA I've bought several cars from and paid a LOT for it. But it's worth it.

Sounds like you have a great car! I doubt it puts this one to shame I've had some very low mileage cars and there's really not that much difference when you're talking about cars of this quality. It's not necessarily the mileage that makes a vehicle nice it's the care that the original owners put into them.
