Early Rangers like the one in the video had the sway bar inside the radius arms going across the radius arm crossmember. The truck now had a Dana 35 front axle with the later style sway bar across the front so I can disconnect one end easily for more articulation offroad.

Drives like about anything else. You might check the pivot bushings, radius arm bushings and balljoints for wear. Vibrating cans could be something like a bad tire or bent rim too.

@@85Ranger4x4 Tires and wheels are fairly new (year and a half). I'm not so sure it'd be them, but it's always possible. I have looked at the suspension bushings and some of them could use replacing. Scale 1-10 how much am I gonna cuss during it? Not just the shaking at highway speeds, I can feel every little imperfection in the road and going over railroad tracks for example is really rough.

@@mcwillies2737 Might check the shocks and springs too, if your are hitting the bumpstops because the springs are whipped it won't ride very nice. Radius arm bushings require cutting rivets if they haven't been changed before. Pivot bushings you have to beat out of the beam. Might consider upgrading to the later D35 axle while you have it out, I am doing that this spring.

@@85Ranger4x4 Actually have two BIIs (one of which was wrecked a few years back by a previous owner) and the passenger side tie rod mount on the axle snapped so I pulled the axle with intention of throwing a D35 in, but it's been over a year and that hasn't happened yet, maybe someday. Either way, I'm not really up for an entire axle swap or maybe even bushings at the moment as I use the daily as a... daily and money isn't exactly burning a hole in my pocket. Will probably pick up some new shocks soon, any recommendations? Forgot to say before, the leaf springs in the daily are definitely shot, the front mount is actually sagging below the middle (where it mounts to the axle), might try to swap them with the leafs from the wrecked BII (they're in better shape).
