This is the VW Passat B2 that we would like to see produced here in Brazil during the golden years of these relics. My father had 2 VW Passat: a 1978, Model "LS", and a 1986 Model "Village". By the way, the car in my avatar is a VW Gol ("VW Goal"), a "mini Passat" that came to substitute the old VW Beetle (here in Brazil better known as "Fusca"). It's a 1992, Model GL. I don't know if the VW Gol has ever existed in Europe, but I know that its design was based on VW Scirocco, another european VW Classic. Congratulations for the video!

Wow, your B2 is in excellent shape! I own a 1987 1.8 liter CL with 4 speed manual. It has 340 000 kilometers on the original engine and gearbox but its working excellent! It's way faster than your 1.6td, but that is not suprising with 90 hp :-)

Sehr schöner Wagen. Scheint im Top Zustand zu sein. Kleiner Tipp, nicht den linken Fuß dauerhaft auf dem Kupplungspedal stehen lassen. Je nach Einstellung besteht die Gefahr des dauerhaften schleifens wenn der Fuß müde wird und man merkt es nicht. Noch lange viel Spaß mit dem Wagen.

Idêntico ao VW Santana aqui no Brasil! Porém aqui não temos esse modelo "hatch" e sim o sedan tanto de 4 e 2 portas... eu soube também que é só aqui no Brasil que nós temos o modelo 2 portas. Ainda ontem passou um por mim,talvez ano 87,Prata motor AP 2.0,de quatro portas,é bem comum aqui nas ruas do Brasil ainda hoje. Ah sim também temos a versão "station wagon", perto de casa aqui tem um station wagon modelo sport! Sport,além de alguns detalhes a mais,o acabamento é melhor também.

Moi rodzice mieli takiego Passata (niedokładnie takiego, bo kombi benzynowe 1.8, w dodatku automat :)), rocznik 1986, kupiony jako używany na początku lat 90-tych. Bardzo przyjemny samochód i świetne wspomnienia. Przede wszystkim: bardzo obszerny i przestronny. Druga rzecz, o której wypada wspomnieć, to to, że choć w latach 90-tych z zewnątrz, na pierwszy rzut oka, wydawał się stylizacyjnie bardzo przestarzały, a wnętrze też nie tchnęło nowoczesnością wzorniczą, jednak przy bliższym spotkaniu okazywał się samochodem bardzo eleganckim i sprawiającym wrażenie dobrej jakości i przytulności. Mam tu szczególnie na uwadze wnętrze, które w porównaniu z modelem kolejnej generacji było nieporównanie milsze: dwukolorowa skajowo-tekstylna tapicerka z subtelnymi chromowanymi elementami ozdobnymi była o niebo przyjemniejsza od wnętrza następcy, w którym dominowała czerń i to paskudne radełkowanie na wszystkich przełącznikach.

Very good I have a PASSAT ls 1983 and here in Brazil it was manufactured until 1986 and gave rise to the Santana which is the same front as yours. And it had the export version for Iraq which is the Passat LSE

Авто отлично выглядит для своих преклонных лет! Но конечно в современных реалиях 70сил явно маловато, его тянет влево судя по всему проблема со схождением и эти стекла на веслах такой анохранизм, а уж что там за система впрыска лучше и не знать.

I ve got passat b3 1.8 abs engine from 1992

Well I'm doing project Audi 80 and 1978 that has that same engine installed in it. Converted from gasoline to diesel. I like that card has the same side mirrors as my Scirocco. A maroon one of those cars would be nice but the red ones are always gone first. And the black ones are gone next the white ones and then by the time they're 40 and 50 years old all that's left are beige Browns and yellows.
