You are the only video that explained about true top dead centre and overlap and I looked for days. Your video gave me the knowledge to properly adjust my valves (2004 XR400R). Thanks.

Great job my friend! Unlike most videos where you can't see what the person's doing, the lighting in your video made that possible. Thanks.

great video and fast to the point. do you know how what the spec is on a 1983 xr 350? and how to take off the cam chain tensioner? so i can time my bike correctly
@DRaysShop11 жыл бұрын
Yep, looks like new cam and rockers are in your future man. It would also be a good idea to flush out the crankcase, oil tank, and check the primary strainer screen when you replace your valvetrain parts. Don't want any debris from those worn parts scratching up the new ones. Let me know how your project turns out.

D ray I tried this because the motor is noisy I really tried alot to get the flywheel cover off so I could turn it manually really couldn't so I used the Kickstart to turn it which was a huge pain my 87 xl600r valves look different then your video I tried adjusting the rear valve but didn't seem right so I tried putting it back where it was put the bike back together now it runs like crap. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I was thinking of getting a manual impact hammer to try and get that cover off so I can turn the flywheel.

Good evening sir. I am a fan of your videos. You present well and in a language that is not overwhelming. haha I just adjusted a 87 XR600R. Runs like a son of a bitch. haha Thank you for being patient when making the videos. Most guys rush through and sound arrogant. You are good people.
