I was feeling stress and anxiety when you were installing the large “R” on the side panel. Nice of the pro installer to make a house call. The decals look super great, nice work.

Thank You for documenting this. It's going to be sick! Your sticker guy made me nervous with wearing his ring and watch while applying the decals.

Adam is awesome with decal application. I wasn’t worried, I’ve seen him work magic on far more difficult stuff (see the Kawi ZX7 decal video ….that’s was scary to watch him do that )

You’re doing a fantastic job. I was living it with you when you were applying the decals yourself yet I was relaxed watching the pro do the tank 😂🙈. Looking forward to the next episode already 👍

Glad you like them! Thanks for watching. Yea the Barbie hair dryer is goofy but it works well, you cannot overheat the decals with it

If there is a prime position on the fuel tap and it is left oni that position the fuel tank will empty its contents thru ur bores and into ur sump👍

Thanks for commenting !!! here is what I know, while there is a prime position on the pet valve/tank, the tank isn’t on the bike, it’s running off a fuel bottle . The fuel bottle will feed fuel non stop (like being in prime) however…. If the carbs are setup properly, clean and needles and seats are in good shape, that fuel shouldn’t go anywhere once the bowls are full. In fact you will see in an upcoming video that I test all my rebuilt carbs buy feeding them non stop fuel off a bottle for 24-48 hours making sure there are zero leaks and the fuel doesn’t go past the needles/seats once the bowls are full. These carbs were filthy with debris, needles and seats were bad, all the orings and gaskets were bad, and the slide needle on carb 1 was missing parts. These carbs have now passed a 48 hour full fuel feed test (like being on prime) and no longer leak. Prime position will fill the float bowls quickly without the need for turning the engine over to create vacuume for the pet valve to activate Thanks for watching and commenting

Mate, the uneven gaps on the tail sections above the gsxr750 decals between the 3 shades of green stick out like dogs nuts... and I'm old and half blind! You've gone to a lot of effort, be a shame if you didn't do something to sort it, cheers. btw, you can use fine line tape (looks about 3mm or 1/8") between stripes to keep your spacing even.

Yea, gaps are off a bit but it’s off a bit on all 4 panels. Unfortunately if it was spaced evenly the the holes in the tail panel didn’t line up. It’s not OEM, but it looks fine to me.

Recut or trim the holes, if I remember the grab rail mouldings are big enough to cover any anomaly with the holes. You won't see the holes but you will most certainly notice the uneven lines as your eyes will automatically be drawn to it. If I'm right, you'll be waiting a few days for the stickers to degas before you clear over them, so you still have time! Don't let me down mate.@@true-moto-resto

video was filmed several weeks ago. Body and paint is all finished. I’m happy with it. Thanks for the input. also, there is No grab bar on the back of this bike, I’d like one but don’t have one (yet?)

What do you do with all those bikes, you can only ride one at time , do you ever sell any?.
@true-moto-resto
@true-moto-resto 3 ай бұрын
Hi Darren, I’m a collector, I buy and hold. Occasionally I sell one to a friend but not often. I ride them from time to time, but to be honest there are a few that are just museum queens. I ride every day in the spring/summer and fall.
