Fit some Goodridge speed bleeders. Works awesome, and when tightened they are safe as the oem's. No spillage and leaks around the threads. So when it's time to replace the brake fluid just fit the hose and open a quarter turn then pump. No open and closing.

@@true-moto-resto I hope we will have some riding video on this bike, at least around the corner?

Possibly , we will see. No paved roads for several Km around here. One ride and it’s 2 hrs cleaning . Not good for a guy with OCD. Lol

Well, informative video again. Brakes, yes they are a total pain on the GSXR. I tried every way to bleed them and found that the only thing that worked was the vacuum pump method.

I’m about 3 weeks ahead of the video just published and I’m glad to say I got them bled ! Thanks for watching and commenting.

Will try the kleen flow on my ns400r. Looks like good stuff. A tip on bleeding awkward brakes line's on a bike is to zip tie the brake leaver over night under pressure. The bleed the next day. Use to race bikes and everyone knows about this in the paddock from year's ago. Always work well.

Yea, thanks, I’ve done that too, including on this GSXR , brakes are now Bled. I’m about 3 weeks ahead of where the videos are at the moment. Thanks for commenting !!

Hi there the way I see it, the disadvantages of a slight change in bolt torque due to the anti-seize on the threads reducing friction during torqueing process is outweighed by the ability of the threads remaining in good condition and not being affected by corrosion. I would use it on caliper bolts too.

Another excellent video. Thanks for sharing. Any thoughts to jetting and carb setup if you're using the pod filters?
@true-moto-resto3 ай бұрын
Thank you! Yes it will need resetting at some point due to the pods and also the exhaust

Keep up the good work, amazing. What is the best way to repair scratches on an oem rear fender that scrubbed a wall while being moving my vfr. Any suggestions.

Good question!, If it’s the black plastic material , I may try with a plastic welder with the large flat trowel type tip the smooth it out, you’d have to be super careful as it would be easy to make it worse. Some folks have luck sanding and polishing using progressively finer sand paper and polish compounds. Heat guns can also smooth out the rough surfaces but then again too much heat and it’s easy to ruin it or make it worse. In short, there is no easy fix.

Every time I get up on a ladder and reset the time on my shop clock, the power goes out. Even if I just think about it too.

Paul Lewis did race a Skoal Bandit Suzuki, but his was the RG500 2 stroke I believe. Early 80’s
