Yup. They are slick and I'd like to get one. Prices on those are a fair bit higher and really... For something that loops the engine coolant through... I'd probably want a high quality unit or at least, a well tested unit.

They work really well , you can find cheaper versions but I think your talking about a wabasco... slick thing about useing one of those instead of a block heater is you can temperature switch your cabin fan to defrost the windshield and warm the cabin . Without it being inside the cabin . Safer , just my 2 cents .

Send me a distillation rig that's safe to operate and I'll jump on it! I'd love to try it... I just don't have the time or money to fabricate a distillation tower.

@@NotSoGrandGarage nah mate you don't need distillation tower u just need simple distillery to distill it, made up of steel so my question is why u need the distillation tower for it

@@ZarawarKhan-gs8hr different compounds release at different temperatures. You may not end up with anything close to Diesel... You may end up with something closer to naphtha or gasoline or kerosene which wouldn't be ideal. You need precise temperature control and the only good way to do it that I've seen is electric with a controller. Electric heating costs as well so now production cost has gone up. With a condensing tower, you can control what you are getting a bit better anyways .

​@NotSoGrandGarage Strongly suggest to anyone who tries distillation of used oil to keep the distillation tower separated from the boiler , not just because it's more precise if the column isn't thermally coupled... also because product will include vapors & if we boil and collect in seperate rooms ... we get to survive .
