You can see many older Mercedes throughout the video. Just shows how reliable they realy are. Sure, maybe the electronics dont work like they once did and the car is beat up, but they drive. Thats all you need in Africa.

I have a 1991 190E 2.3 in the U.S., only mine looks like it's only a few years old. With this one you can see it's a workhorse, not a Sunday ride

I like this car. I have one. It had engine 2.0l and now i swap with another type toyota 2jz 3000 vvti. The horse power is 220hp. It is like mini charger in acceleration.

What's the deal with a misaligned steering wheel? 99% of cars have the steering wheel out of center or even upside down... Is this some kind of status symbol, like "I'm such a good driver I don't need my wheel to be centered to know where I am going" kind of thing? I see a lot of cars with the steering wheels like that in "dangerous roads" documentaries too

Maybe they are changing steering components and they are not going to adjust the suspension geometry.

Probably from changing tie rods. The new ones have to be adjustet to just the same lenght as the previous ones, otherwise steering wheel can be tilted. Also the tie rod on the passenger side always needs to be adjusted to a specific lenght on this Mercedes.
