That walk-off HR was so exciting. It put Joe Carter in the recrd book with Bill Mazeroski, who did it in 1960 for the Pittsburgh Pirates.

I remembered this game 6,I was at a friend's place when Joe hit that 3 run shot to win it we went totally nuts.

I went to Mike Schmidt's Hall of Fame induction in Cooperstown in 1995, if I remember correctly. It was filled with Philly fans. My friend had a Joe Carter jersey with him and he said 'man I'm definitely not wearing that to the induction ceremony '. I said 'I'll wear it!' I walked around the crowd with my arms raised up in the air yelling 'way back and gone'! I got a lot of dirty looks! 😂

I was living in downtown Toronto for both Blue jays World Series wins. It was a great place to be at that time I'll tell ya.

All Al Leiter did was win. 1993 Workd Series Blue Jays. 1997 Florida Marlins. 2000 Mets. A true champion.
