I highly recommend the Nighthawk. It's super reliable and somewhat fun. Good ole Honda. 750cc is plenty of power to get around. inline 4 engine, carbeutated. Easy to maintain. Music: Mysteries

I rode this bike for a summer in 2002 . Great bike,lots of power ,comfortable. cons; one front brake instead of two. wind screen , would have been nice.

I'm getting a nighthawk for sure now just for the simple fact im falling in love with the standard/naked bike look and im 6'1 so it would most likely fit me well. I subscribed to your channel you should start motovlogging💯

The Nighthawk is a solid bike. I love the vintage bikes too. I'm only 5'6" and it fits me well but it should fit your height too. Thanks for subscribing 🤗

Your bike is very nice. 3 wire turn signals are getting hard to find but worth it. Smart move on keeping the factory designed exhaust since changing it would actually be a major DOWNGRADE done to a very refined and balanced motorcycle. Likely it'll just produce loud noise and keeping the ultra useful center stand will be a challenge and it'll look asymmetric and ugly. Never understood the noise thing. The only thing I'd change would be replacing the front rubber brake line for a stainless steel one. Worth it. Cheers

I completely agree with you. My Nighthawk ran amazing and I believe it is because it is all stock. The Japanese know what they are doing when they designed the bikes. I had a Ninja 650 with a modified exhaust and it backfired all the time. The braided stainless steel brake line was next on my to-do list but I ended up selling my bike. Now I’m looking for my next ride 😀

I agree! I stuck on a black (since my Nighthawk is all black) stainless-steel brake line and it immediately took all the "squish" out of the lever! Now,it brakes firm an hard! You won't be disappointed! : >)

Many aftermarket exhaust are just there for the noise. I am getting to where I prefer the *quiet* exhausts more & more here lately. And at least on your bike the stock exhaust actually LOOKS good! Some of the new bikes sold today has some of the ugliest darn exhausts on them! ( Kawi Ninja300 for one example ) Good review gal.
@motogirlz1015 жыл бұрын
I think I prefer a medium exhaust but the stock one is tuned so well, I won't mess with it. My ZL would bust eardrums but boy was it fun to ride! Thanks for watching the review.

Hey, how do I change the handle bar on these things
@motogirlz1012 жыл бұрын
I changed my handle bars once on a different bike. There are clamps you have to unscrew that are holding the bars in place. But you also have to undo the clutch assembly a little, not completely. It’s been a while since I did it but there is a video in my playlist. Let me find it.

How tall are you? My fiance wants to upgrade from a rebel 250. Someone has one of these for 800 bucks. But she is 5'2. Short legs lol so trying to get some input on how tall it is.
@motogirlz1013 жыл бұрын
I am 5’6” and am comfortable on 29” seat height. Why don’t you have her sit on the bike? That’s what I always do before I buy one. My Nighthawk sits a little taller than other bikes I’ve had so I have to tip toe just a little.
@m279313 жыл бұрын
It is a little top heavy though, so easy to drop in the parking lot if you have short legs. I dropped mine a couple times in my garage. But now I’m used to it and no issues. I even ride a gold wing and that is way too tall for me!
@motogirlz1012 жыл бұрын
@@m27931 yes, the 750 is a bit top heavy and takes getting used to if you need to maneuver it around. I dropped mine once in the garage b/c my foot slipped out from under me. Lesson learned. This is why I also don’t recommend this as a beginner bike or for smaller people. I think a light bike like a Ninja 250 is much better to start out on b/c it is light and easy to maneuver and build confidence. I started out on a very light scooter and fell in love with riding that way and worked my way up to this one.

@@motogirlz101 But I must say, this bike continues to grow on me over time. Now that I'm used to the weight, I like it more than light bikes because it feels stable and planted on the highway, plus I find it handles great at slow speeds too. And it doesn't egg me on to dart in and out of traffic or do anything unsafe. It's just chill and happy to cruise slow but has a reserve of power when you want it, so smooth. And the engine is gorgeous. This bike is incredibly well made and super simple and everything works right. I wonder if this is possibly one of the best bikes ever made for regular road riding. I would take the Nighthawk 750 over any of these new retro bikes out there - this is the real thing.

That does not look like stock exhaust. The stock stuff you cant hear over 50mph. lol. And it is dual with H pipe from the factory, im pretty sure. Either way, if you like it..... SO DO I! lol. Cool bike. got mine for cheap and glad to be back on 2 wheels..
@motogirlz1012 жыл бұрын
Hmm. My exhaust is super quiet so I assumed it was stock. Didn’t see any aftermarket markings. It is a dual exhaust also so I still think it’s the stock pipes. Just sold it though. It was a nice bike for the 3 years I had it. Enjoy yours! Let me know if you make a vid. I’ll check it out.
@Long-nd8bq2 жыл бұрын
It was stock exhaust. You can even see the riveted baffles in it. I have the same bike. It's too quiet for my taste. Can't hear it over the wind at higher speeds. Makes me wonder when coasting if the engine is even on. I'm going to get rid of the dual exhaust and put a 4 into 1 system on it from Delkevic. Some people like the quiet bikes, others don't. It's a personal preference.
