I also beat you to this as well. I bought the same bulbs you did and I did this with the leftover bulbs I had after I watched your video on turning your gauge cluster white. I also put the auxito bulbs in my license plate lights too. Sadly my truck has been parked because my E4OD gave up the ghost and about 4 quarts of fluid on the garage floor. I will be starting my ZF5 swap as soon as my last part comes in the mail.

I watched this one and the dash light video as well. So, you use white LED bulbs and not green tinted? Did you also swap out the warning lights on the dash, such as the 4WD light etc? I have a 95 F250 4x4 5.8 that needs a little rehab. Thanks

I'm going to add a couple of things while i was doing mine in my 99-03 Excursion cause it was a little different. The 197 bulbs are also known as the T10 bulbs. The newer control unit had the smaller T5 Bulbs. It also appeared to have a green plastic sheet inside of the control unit giving it the green color the actual black face was clear when i removed it so I'm thinking if i remove that plastic card inside i should be able get whatever color bulbs i have. Also i removed the Light switch which was also clear. The only thing i could find was bulb inside attached to an electrical board with a green rubber over it to give the green tint so i removed the rubber piece. I couldn't see how to take it out so I'm going to live with white over there while the rest I'm going blue. Hope this helps someone else cause there was limited videos on these two for the newer body style

I got a question, why do u like the 7.3 because I want one but it seems a Cummins is a better buy a 12v is more reliable much cheaper to make powerful and gets insane gas mileage, I know dodge makes horrible trucks so I was gonna cummins swap an obs what are your thoughts what made you go with 7.3
