Rodman's respect and loyalty to Jordan is so unbelievably underrated. 10:06 - Dude has his back turned to the basket. That's COMPLETE confidence in Michael's abilities and will to win. He KNOWS that he's not going to miss. 11:43 - Just look at Rodman. He's fucking walking back to their side and he actually splits the defense and leaves Jordan one on one with Russell to make history.

I was watching this game in a crowded bar off Division St in Chicago.......when Jordan stripped Malone and the game clock was ticking down, everyone was on edge anticipating what was going to happen next......when Jordan got open and fired that shot, everyone held their breath......once the shot hit nothing but net, an explosive crowd eruption of excitement and relief.......great times!

I wasn’t even born when this happened but I know how great he is because my dad always talks about how great Michael Jordan was, and he always shows us his highlights and the championship tapes and whenever I watch MJ I get chills and my hair stands up because he’s just so iconic especially this game and the game winning shot, it will forever be the most iconic play in not just basketball history but really sports history as well.

We watched this at home, everyone one was like "It's over" as soon as Mike stole the ball and he was walking down the court. It's as if everyone at home knew the man was definitely gonna make the game winning shot before it even happened because it's Michael fucking Jordan.

@akattom everyone was holding their breath as the final seconds ticked down. We all knew MJ would take the last shot, but I (and I suspect many) were scared to death. Remember that MJ choked at the end of games 4 & 6 at the Pacers, and again at the end of game 5 with the Jazz. When that final shot went in though, it was an incredible experience to be a part of. Great times :)

Eisley made that 3pt shot clearly before buzzer, ref said it was after. MJ was great whole PO, but he made foul when Malone was with the ball at 25 sec left. First time MJ took a ball, and after that he took Malones shorts, clearly foul. One more to discuss is also when he pushed off Russell in last possesion, but first two things are clearly stolen. MJ was GOAT, Bulls were too strong, but Utah deserved game 7, but refs took away that

@@ajschannel162 Another problem: they counted Harper's 2 (even though it was after the buzzer). That shaved 5 points off of Utah's total, in a game they "lost" by 1. The Bulls also received 24 FTs in the fourth quarter of Game 4. More than Utah received for the game, total; essentially the same type of rigging as Lakers/Kings Game 6, 2002. Chicago "won" Game 4 by four points. In the last minute, Malone became tangled with Rodman on the key rebound, but Malone managed to secure it and Utah was on the break. The officials called it back, and gave Chicago/Rodman 2 very suspicious FTs in the sequence, essentially icing the game as Chi went up 4 with less than a minute left. Also, Chicago played Zone Defense throughout the series. Which was totally illegal in the 90s NBA.

The NBA is essentially scripted entertainment, as this comments section shows. Supposedly high drama when, in the same paragraph, the Jordan fans -- not NBA fans -- will gloat that Jordan was so much better than his competition, and they they were simply pathetic next to him. If Jordan was so much better than everyone else, it is also hard to see where the drama was at. After all, that would make the result a foregone conclusion. And if he wasn't so much better than his competition, maybe the fanboys should show some actual respect for those other players.

Lbj's rings came from superteams he never worked hard to made his team better instead he just ride on or jumps wagon to play with a superteam/talented players and get those chips.. For me this is a true game real teamwork and individuals who strived to play hard and better every year! To the point where they're right now! And Jordan is the real Goat! 👍👍👍

All of Jordan's finals opponents are literally less skilled than Kobe and LeBron's, it's just facts. Please respect the evolution of the game that these men created though, especially 23!!

Both finals versus the Jazz were incredible! They were much closer than six games though in my opinion. I watched both of them, and Utah was an amazing team! The coaching was phenomenal! Most any other team besides the bulls they would have won the finals both years. What a great time in basketball history!

8:23 - watch Steve Kerr get beat up - he gets forearmed in the head and kneed in the chest dropping him to the floor and then gets trampled over - all by Karl Malone - how the refs didn't see it is unbelievable. You hear Kerr yell when he gets hit in the head.

You know growing up Michael Jordan was and still is my everything. He was why I ever loved the game of basketball as a little little kid. He had an ability to play the game in a way that I have never seen replicated. Even today when I play basketball I wonder what went through his mind before he made some of the incredible plays he did. The thing I remember most about this night was thinking and just praying please MJ. Do not go away. Please do not retire. I just knew that if he and the bulls stayed together the winning would have continued. My biggest regret I will ever have is that I was never able to watch my hero in person. But 27 years old and Michael Jordan is still the biggest inspiration in my life. Hopefully one day I get the chance to shake his hand and thank him for the impact he had on my life.

Truth. This is and always will be my answer for all those people who question Jordan as being the best of all time. He played during a period when attempting to drive the lane for an easy 2 lay-up, they were gonna make you pay for it in bruises and blood. Jordan is considerably smaller than James yet still he always found a way to get to the rim and make it count. The NBA today calls a foul for even dripping a bead of sweat on your opponent. Oh, and let's not forget that Jordan STAYED WITH THE BULLS HIS ENTIRE CAREER. James bounced around and went to the teams that could get him a ring.

That is such BS. The 1990s was a watered down league filled with expansion teams and mediocre finals opponents. The Bulls were the only truly good team that was stacked and it’s no surprise they won 6 titles in that decade. The 2010s decade alone produced at least 10 teams that could give the Bulls a run for their money. And miss me with that “PhYsIcAl” defense. The defenders back then were slow as molasses and most of them look disorganized. Plus there were *more* fouls called per game in the 90s then today.

11:32 this is such a key play, good job from Phil Jackson and the coaching staff. They don't expect a 2 for 1 and think maybe the bulls will try to tie with a 3 pointer (today that's what would happen because everyone tries to shoot 3's).

factz, I mean I luv basketball so I'm a fan of what these players today can do, kids of some of the ogs doing they thing, but the way the game is played, the rules, and analytics taking the post up and mid range game out, the money being different, the passion just isn't there as much, it don't feel as real
