1999 Lamborghini Diablo SV Replica D&R Replicars Kirban Customs Inc

This beautiful Diablo SV Replica was built by Darrell Kirban. This was the last car Darrell Kirban (the "D" in D&R Replicars) personally built. Many of you probably know of the "Kirban's Devil in a Blue Dress" Diablo" that was featured on the cover of Kit Car that he built, this one is it's twin!
It has been sitting inside a climate controlled bubble since 2000. Only has 500 miles on it since it was built. The body panels originated from molds off an original Lamborghini. The owner was super meticulous, and it shows. All the little details have not been missed on this build. The car has a tube chassis that utilized a 1 owner 10,000 mile 1988 Fiero for suspension and V6 drive train (would be an awesome candidate for an v8 conversion).

....well kinda...yes...but in this world of custom cars.....if you are lucky becoming next owner....and have relevant funds....there are dozens. of specialized tuners who will replace it with whatever fits and you like ....including original Lambo units....if I have this opportunity....RWD set up of V10 with 6-stick from R8....and Hydroshox 4'+5' suspension

Very nice Devon. I also have a D&R Diablo but the 2000 model year. Your dad built an amazing kit and I am so happy with the quality of my fiberglass. I bought it just before they closed the doors. That is one awesome Diablo. I've always liked well done replicas over the originals of these cars. They are more comfortable, easier to maintain, and you can choose what type of engine you want. The Diablo body style is often overlooked today but is so sexy.

Have you ever heard of Jerod Shelby or SSC? Before Jerod designed and built his own original super car, the SSC Aero, he made the best Lambo replicars bar none- I remember seeing them for sale in Dupont Registry Automotive & The Robb Report Automotive. Custom tube frames from scratch, no cut & stretch nonsense, no transverse powertrains, and V8's only.

LOL THAT GUY SPENT MORE BUILDING THAT CAR I BET THAN A REAL ONE WOULD COST, AND ITS PROLLY BETTER BUILT. OLD LAMBOS LIKE THIS ONE LOOK LIKE KIT CARS WHEN THEY ARE REAL. @@boomjeep99 When was the last time you heard someone say "I wanna build a race car, I'm gonna go start with a lamborghini replica" ? These cars aren't build for speed. They can be but why remove the perfectly running V6 which you have no intent to race anyone and complicate your build with a V8 swap? Putting a V8 swap will make the car run slower in most cases. a 3800 would be your best bet if youre gonna swap anything into it. You can always buy an Ebay turbo for the stock 2.8 and thats gonna be more than enough for what youre looking for.
