I’ve a 1999 silver sands S420 w140. Bought for under $11k in perfect shape with less than 85k on it … all maintenance done with records. It’s a monster. When not a winter, salty month, it’s a frequent driver. This car is a monster. A monster that will run forever.

Welcome to the w140 club I own a 99 w140 Black with Black interior I've owned it since 2021 I absolutely love it and I daily drive it I'm going to keep it forever I hope you enjoy yours also much respect from St.louis Missouri

I just bought a 1999, with 58k miles! It sat for years, but drove the best car I have ever driven. I have driven a Rolls Royce Wraith, and I will compare the same if not better drive!!! Buy one before they are too far expensive!!!

Nice cars! Money pits, but a great driving experience. I don't think they will ever get too expensive at least in the us. Here is no market for them...unfortunately

What about the switch that retract the backmirrors automatically. Its left of your Gearshifter.

You can replace the Hirschmann mast and the hirschmann power unit pretty cheap.

19:14 this car does 0-100 km/h or 0-62 mph in 7,3 sec. Thats from the technical Data sheet. But not in 5 or 6 seconds! 😂

Got it. That is 0 to 62. 0 to 60 is less than 7. In the 6 sec range. You can check some other videos online if you want.

I drive a 2007 s65 amg which i feel is a nod to the v12 version of the w140, i also keep a 2008 e350 4matic for a work/bad weather car but i think i may give away the e if i can find one of these in good condition, I can keep up with service on the s65 so one of these should be easy

Pristines w140 are expensive, too expensive. Also keep in mind that they are very old and a lot of things go bad with them. I just sold mine after i have put almost 7k in 1 year. It was not worth it

I have the same car (German made) white exterior but tan interior. My cup holder is also broke and would love to find another one to replace it. My mother bought it new and I bought it from her estate. Mine is missing one of the small cover panels on the front spoiler. Where in the world can I find parts like this for it? Thanks for the vid. I love mine, I'm sure you will yours as well. 😎👍

Hey! It is very rare to find some small items like that and when you do they are pretty expensive. I always try ebay. Just need to look for the right part name. You can also try pelicanparts.com and fcpeuro.com
