Rory was a beast. Humble guy and career for a talent that big.

Rory inspired a lot of bands. He played acoustic guitar, mandolin, saxophone, and had a lot of blues influence. He used interesting tunings, especially his acoustic guitars. He used Celtic tuning since he was Irish, and he's the only slide player I've ever seen use a capo. Lots of good Rory out there.

Check him out doing Bullfrog Blues live in Paris. Rory is not as famous with the public around the world as other guitar players but he was very well known and respected by other guitar players of the time. He is one of the all time greats. shhhh in kicker:)

Rory was a blue-rock player. He had whoke sets of acoustic blues.

An amazing performance- Rory could play anything- for example I am not sure anyone could reprise his song ‘a million miles away’ from his album Irish Tour 1974…. Rory was the great guitarist of the rock blues era.. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gqeamZd_sMfRZGQ.htmlsi=X4YvHQ1NyUwRcSJ2

Rory was a beast. I highly recommend his Deuce album, especially the track "Used to Be". There's a great 70's live performance from the German TV show Beat Club that is fantastic.
