They are “impact swivel sockets” search that on google and you should be able to find some no problem, super super handy to have around!

Honestly I don’t remember off the top of my head, they were not anything special, I just went to my local hardware store and found the size that bolted into the engine

@@ushad just have them do a compression test while your there if they can to make sure its a good block. And make sure you take your time going over the engine once you buy it. Its so much easier to make sure everything is done correctly while it is out of the car

Depending on what hatchback and if there is enough room for the engine and a transmission i don’t see why not but like i said depends on the hatchback

A few things, I got mine for $2000 with automatic transmission. The few things that make the difference is non vvti engines cost more for some reason, next, the r154 transmission is good but very expensive because its hard to come by. You can use a bmw zf trans with adapter kit if you want. The last thing is that iv been hearing prices are just increasing in general due to supply and demand. Make sure you have them pressure check it while your there to make sure nothing is wrong with the cylinders!

Yeah im keeping stock intake manifold, stock exhaust manifold (with turbo) and stock turbo intake (referred to as J pipe)

About 300 HP and 300 torque, just stock motor all refreshed and new tune

This one specifically was out of a jzx 100 toyota chaser

Aaron O lol i got mine from Jdm of Chicago, they just import the engines, check out your local jdm shop they should already have engines outside of cars

Not awkward at all lol, they are very very similar, the 2jz has a 3.0 liter bottom end while the 1jz has a 2.5 liter. Also with the 2jz they have a twin turbo with vvti option where as on vvti 1jz its just paired with a single turbo. I went with the 1jz because it was cheaper and I feel like if you do a single turbo upgrade it’s basically the same thing. A lot if parts can be used between both the 1jz and 2jz however there some things specific to each of course. Message me on insta @flybysdrifting if you have any questions!
