I can't give you enough thumbs up for this build my man. Mad respect to a rare breed of KZfaqr nowadays who actually build a car with their own hands from scratch. Looking forward to the future uploads. The amount of small details that went into this build is amazing.

I would almost agree with you, but the trend is growing more popular than ever. I have probably 75 channels in my subscription that do this type of work. There's probably another 300-400 DIY channels.

Easily my most favorite build on youtube. I wish I had the time and skill to restore my 280 like you did yours. Glad to see all the work paying off!

LS130 thanks! And you can do it. I learned how to weld on this car. My floor pan vs passenger floor pan is night and day difference 😄. I’ve come a long way..

Big props to you. I just finished doing an RB25 swap into my Z and I can definitely appreciate how much work you've put in. Especially trying to film it all while you're wrenching. Also mad props to your wife for being so supportive. My wife supports my hobby too, but it will be a cold day in hell when she picks up a wrench!
@StewartMotoring4 жыл бұрын
Haha yea she helps a lot. Quite lucky. Exactly! Filming makes everything take twice as long.. sometimes I wonder why I do it. And props on your swap. Very tough thing to do.

I definitely understand why you were nervous with the first drive. My supra that I've been building for about 4yrs is at the tuners and I'm freaking out, it's a lot of money and time if it doesn't turn out a success. Good job man!

Great job sir. I've really enjoyed you taking us along on this build. Ive even learned quite a bit and got some ideas for my own project. One thing i did notice on your test drive is it looks like your hood might not have been fully/correctly latched. Give that a look see before you do any high speed stuff :)
@StewartMotoring5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. For the hood - I didn’t have the rubber adjusters on each side of the hood next to the cowl so it was wobbling back and forth. I have since installed them

Jimmy 2Jackets hey thanks for watching. Never heard of an r230 I’ll have to check it out
@Jimmy2Jacketz5 жыл бұрын
The r230 is a LSD unit out of the 90-96 300zx TT. Way stronger unit with cv axles. But I also had to buy the complete conversion kit from Techno toy tuning. Alittle expensive but worth the money by far! Picked up a totaled 300zx for $600 bucks
