Yes shorts are worth it because what u can do Is make a long video and turn it into a small short. Then tell people to go watch the whole video if they were interested in it. So u get more views on your long video

Shorts are definetly worth it. Just upload short clips of your long videos, or summarize the entire long video in one short clip (when possible). This way, you do not have to create additional content, just some editing.

Shorts are still worth it, if you have a thousand shorts and each one of them gets a thousand views a week, you get a million views every week, and that makes up over a grand per month. Shorts are more worth it than you think

$6 per second per 1 million views vs $1.50 per second per 1 million views is probably the more fair way to look at it granted this is with a sample size of just 1 so the real numbers would likely be different between various types of content but if a long video takes less than 4 times the time to make than a short, then a long video would be the better format for making money. if it takes more than 4 times the time, then a short would probably be the better option

Yeah. That’s a really interesting way of looking at it! It definitely takes less time to create most Shorts, but it still can be 4-6 hours of work for me usually.

Most people have shorts as their secondary content that leads into their longer form content. Almost nothing is lost in creating the short since all the material is gathered when creating the longer form video anyway. Im sure the editing is annoying and specific scripts, but it doesn't sound like a bad deal imho.

It varies on the person and the field he is in cuz if ur in gaming ur definetly get more views from shorts as not everyone is a fond of long vids so ull make more money that way but if u r like a technical or educational channel people will most likely watch ur vids rather than shorts cuz shorts cant tell or show it detailed.
