The 2020 handies I was bed ridden and could not walk without assistance, and was partially paralyzed in my left leg. This year I’m going on a 5 mile walk while listening to this, Thanks you guys and here’s to another year of face punching.

Different people react differently. I was prescribed Adderall but mostly used it to party. Literally couldn't stand in one place for more than a few seconds, a bit of anxiety (which can be tempered with weed) and mostly just a tunnel-vision like focus and unending amounts of energy.

The Dricus-Whitaker worst KO of the year seems particularly bitter. Dricus didn’t knock Bobby out via flailing his arms and bonking his chin, he and his team spoke about how they scouted Whitaker and noticed he could be nailed with a same-time counter jab and did exactly that. Dricus may look like a goof, but even y’all have noted how he clearly prepares for his opponents if nothing else

To this day I believe those rumors and images of Ciryl Gane's hand being broken going into that fight. And that the UFC, having just received a ton of backlash for letting TH Dillashaw fight injured, paid him extra and told him to keep his mouth shut about the injury, to avoid having to cancel a Jon Jones event again. If you watch the fight, he goes down immediately to take the safe loss, and I'm pretty sure he only can fight the choke with one hand. They'll reward him with another title shot down the line. So I don't think it was bad brainthinking, I think it was basically, like with Dillashaw, a predetermined outcome with all trying to make the best they could. I'm still shocked the UFC wasn't investigated for fight fixing and affecting betting outcomes after the TJ Dillashaw fight and I think it just led to this and to the Darrick Minner /James Krause controversy .

Judges and referees REALLY are this biased, and often connected directly or indirectly to fighters... the Valentina stuff was really something ya'll should rethink. I only did ammy stuff, but I saw so much shit re: collusion, bias, and connection even there - I can only imagine with betting and higher stakes how that goes. Please reconsider your positions, boys

have to agree there's something likeable about strickland. i hate UFC's desire to be like pro wrestling rather than a real sport, the aggression and posturing outside the ring, the narcissistic a-holes imagining what they have is the same thing as humor and charisma, the maga-loving crowds ... strickland however is mentally broken, but authentic. he *cannot* control himself, but you keep feeling hints there's a nice person underneath. i want him to get therapy but know it won't happen. and it's genuinely my favorite fighting style ... no wasted motion, but it's far from passivity: every position is a threatening knife edge where he knows how he's going to respond to any move. the details that are only learned with an obsession for sparring. if you dislike fighters who use *way too many feints* it's a joy to see someone overwhelming opponents with genuine pressure. a grating personality who makes the game better while so many (not naming names, boner mckegger) make it worse

The UFC takes most of the negative aspects of being a traditional sport (the reebok and now venom deals pulling all the sponsorship money into their own pockets; the sale of every square inch of the arena to advertisers) with the worst parts of pro-wrestling (over-emphasis on storyline and "marketable" title opportunities over deserved ones; MAGA chud bs and a cult of personality around a billionaire corporate HGH Dracula.
