In my conversion van you definitely have to fire them off of the tail, it's not the same firing up!

Meters almost 2 dbs more with subs facing back bouncing off the wall! 🤷🏻♂️ it just does!

I kinda like the amps on the doors but wonder if they're easier to steal?? Jacob is not making faces so maybe not to loud. Did he say he only had 220 amp alternator on this?? I like the clean work and door work.

He said a 240amp. My thinking regarding if it’s easier to steal or not is that if someone has access to your amps and has the intent to steal them they would have to go through the same amount of work if there were to be mounted on the enclosure or something like that so I don’t think it would be easier to steal

Highs amps have been on doors over two years and 6 months for the subs amp. Only time will tell!

@@brianmiller6555 really?? Maybe I am wrong then I apologize. The more I think about it I wonder if the doors act like a damper for the vibrations, I always have thought doors shake more then almost every other panel but maybe I am all wrong 🤔

@@TBO207 behind the amps is just a piece of 3/4 mdf wood that’s screwed in from the back side of door panel (12 screws with big washers). Door panel hangs like normal. Amps with 2” screws through wood into panel, holds good even door slamming closed time and time again.

@@brianmiller6555 Hey man when you put this is ...did you go through the other ways of facing the port and figure out this is the loudest , like port up , port forward and port back was louder .......because I imagine it has a similar affect kinda like a hatchback where it unloads and then comes up and then forward with the port back ...I'm just trying to figure out which way I should face my box ...I'm building my platform now
