Well its not complicated glucose IS the bodies primary fuel. I know a lot of people who stick to this low carb diet stuff. Some of them do crossfit. Needless to say they are very fit. Yet none of them can keep up with my in a day. Nor are they even close. My adhd which in my case is adHd with extreme hyperactivity presents itself very fast when people get to know me. I'm constantly on the move from sun rise to sun set. Day by day. They might bench more than me. Run faster. Have a better time in a 5k jog. Doesnt matter when they all fail to keep up with my activity level. And trust me they've tried.

Walking wont hurt joints. Running might. That's why there's a method for impact free running. I would suggest switching running and walking every other day. Burn the calories, improve cardiovascular capacity and save your joints in the long run.
