I'm listening to the music & it is so relaxing & enjoyable. I was just working on a strip quilt yesterday. I was thinking about tossing out the little pieces but changed my mind. Glad I did. This is another idea for me. Thank you.

Thank goodness for scraps. We can still put a project together. Fabric is also too high priced right now. I literally have 2-3 rooms full of fabrics. Too bad they are not silver or gold. I’d be sitting on a goldmine. Everyone enjoy your quilting.

Awesome! Something I have done is, since I have some decorative stitches on my machine, I overstitch the lines between fabrics with different decorative stitches with contrasting thread . It looks really neat like a crazy quilt.

That’s how you make spaghetti straps for gowns and dresses, l learned to do it that way in the mid 1950’s,

Lovely work, a strap is something that bends a lot, you have made a handle which doesn't,( it holds it's shape better,) from making covered "cord," which you braided, so that is a braided cord handle. So pretty too. Please take this as me "trying" to help. All the best.

Spaghetti Straps- the cord inside the strap keeps the shape. Otherwise you’d just have a flat, narrow strap. l learned that method in about 1955. Still do it that way.

thank you so much, Thuy 😍 I've made this without the handle & the patchworked part inside because you see more of its beauty this way IMO For the outside I took denim.
