I think the house is just too small for the price. This is the issue with a city like this is that it gets overpopulated with expats and it's like a inflation affect the price of things go up and not in a good way. It's not a bad looking house but there is some much that needs to be done around the house still

Nice house showing and video I just got your message about your hotel in taipai I am at the guide hotel closer to city center so far I am enjoying taipai many people speak English and are happy to talk to foreigners the mall food prices are from $5. I always like your rental videos and house for sale videos.. I wish you would get on that road that you do not know where it goes and follow it up in the mountains around the twin lakes and find some rentals up there to show us.. after I arrive I will have a car and I will head up there to the mountains to find a rental without any close neighbors.. A BIT overpriced. This is a reflection of the inflated pricing here in the Dumaguete market. However, I do believe north of town is going to be the next Hot retail house market.

I keep saying….it’s hilarious that people in the US who have NO CLUE how much land goes for in the Philippines, chime in and act like $178K is a lot of money. This land is 3000-5000 pesos per square meter!!!!!!!! Forget about coming here if you’re watching videos of “retiring to the Philippines on $1000/month” IT AINT HAPPENING!!

Cost of that house is 2.5m lot cost 1.5m tops total 4m. Explain to me how did you get to 10m? This is pissing me off. Ridiculous.

You obviously DON’T live in Negros Oriental….or you still think this is 1975😂. This land is almost 5000 pesos per square meter!!!! Stay in the US if you think it’s too high 🙄. Tell me what a meal costs in your city…tell me what land costs!!!! Only an American who is paying $800K for a house would bitch about paying $178K for a similar house….FORGET COMING HERE IF YOU THINK YOU CAN GET A HOUSE FOR $20K USD

@@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 with all due respect the lot is how far from dumaguete? If we go on your premise 600 sq. Meters at your price of 5,000 per square meter is 3m, to build house 90 sq. Meters is 2.5m tops that’s 5.5m tops total. How do you get to 10 m? I lived in the Philippines for 17 years. How long have you lived here? I’ve built a 60 sq. Meter house a 180 sq. Meter house and a 400 sq. Meter house. How many houses have you built? Don’t get snotty with me I’m just telling the truth. I enjoy your channel but when you advertise a house at such a rediculous price I have to comment. If it’s such a great deal you buy it. Let me know when you buy it . I’ll bring a house warming gift.

@@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 by the way no one paid 5,000 per square meter for that land tops 3,000 per square meter. So that’s 1.8m for lot and 2.5m for a 90 sq. Meter house. Cost 4.3m he’s asking 10m. Don’t argue with me. It’s the truth.

Lets just say it will sell for what someone is willing to pay. That being said , you can get a much nicer 10m house than that one.... even in the Dumma area, although probably not the view or the lower temps such as this one.

I believe the name should be pronounced "Nasty". Isn't it great when someone gives a dish a name... that has never HAD an actual dish of the meal that name is for? Expat expectations set too high leads to diner's regret. When I move I will go there just to decipher their menu and give true definitions.. and warnings of what they serve. I feel I owe it to society... 🤣

Nasty is appropriate. Jennalyn and I HATE to give a negative review, but sometimes we just can’t help it. This was one of those….and we paid over $20USD with 2 beers, and 2 cokes…definitely not worth it

Rent for a year first,it's cheap to rent here in the Philippines... remember easy to buy hard to sell.. I know a guy who gave his place away, just ask the guy to take over the mortgage..after 2 years of payment and lost his 10% deposit...just to get it off his hands..

You should KZfaq the developer. A Canadian married to a Filipina. Office in Dumaguete. They have several developments around Duma area and Siquior too. DPX Dumaguete PhilX ADDRESS: SUITE 409 PORTAL WEST BUILDING SILLIMAN AVENUE, DUMAGUETE CITY. Interesting guy & story on his post retirement, do business again in Duma.
