Hello everyone,
This video is about my recent trip to Toulouse, France. It is the first big city, apart from Paris, that I visited in France. I spent 2 days there. It was a chilling trip and I really enjoyed my time there.
About this video:
0:19 day 1
5:44 day 2
14:18 my expenses in Toulouse
About accommodation:
I stayed at a hotel called Riquet near train station, only 7 minutes by feet. It costs 105 euros. The room is only for one person and it is equipped with everything necessary.
About eating:
There are quite a lot asian restos in Toulouse, including Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. Because of homesick, I tried a Japanese resto and a Korean one. Each of them costs 18 euros, which I think is quite decent. A French dinner costs 38 euros, including a main dish, a glass of wine, and a dessert. In Nice, the same formula would cost around 50 euros. I think the price in Toulouse is relatively lower than that in Nice.
There are some tradiational dishes in Toulouse, for example, Cassoulet. But I don't think i am ready to try it so i leave it to the next time.
About transportation:
Although it is one of the largest cities in France, it is still small... I did not use any public transportations in Toulouse. But there are subways and buses so I think it is quite convenient.
About attractions:
There are a lot of squares (in French: place), where many people sit there and talk to each other. There are some museums. Parks, including Jardin Japonais, are super nice.
Overall, I walked a lot in Toulouse and saw a lot of street views. I didn't do a lot of sightviewing but I really liked this experience. I think I will go back one day.
