💑 About Hercules Candy
Hercules Candy has been on Steve’s side of the family since 1910(ish). When he took over in the 70’s, he anticipated after 10 years of hard work, he could move the business out of the basement and into a real storefront. Unfortunately, it took until 2018 for that to happen, but hey at least it happened! Steve and Terry own the shop, Craig (the social media manager) is their son, Cara (wrapper and shipper extraordinaire who is poised to take over the shop one day) is their daughter and Leah (who doesn’t love being on camera and is very elusive) is their oldest daughter. Karen has been working for Hercules Candy since the twins (Craig and Cara) were about 6 months old and everybody else is a new recruit. Don’t forget to subscribe and hit the 🔔 for more videos!

Im actually suprised how the colors turned out, save for the watermelon. Just not quite red enough imo. But you even accidentally nailed the blackberry color lol. AWESOME JOB!!!

Haha no that doesn't happen because we're very thorough when taking creams out. Also while printing a tray for the next batch, a cream left behind would be very noticeable. But good question!

Omg if I had some extra funds right now I’d be ordering a box! I hope you make these again in the future ❤ Please consider doing some with white chocolate if you can! So many if us have suggested this but I know that it can be a bit complicated with white chocolate and shipping… especially in the summer!

Hi Hercules! Red and blue makes purple you were right, you should have just put a little more blue in it. But then again it was black raspberries so the color was just like the original ones. 😊 I wonder what the cranberry would taste like if you did them.

If you want to make the peach creams look more peach in color, add a drop of red to the orange the next time you do these. Peach color is a slightly pinkish-orange tone.

Would it be possible to coat the creams in the tumbler with confectionary coating like a plant based wax or something? Even a fine beeswax shell would maybe keep them stable enough to sell on site. Might be tough for shipping tho

I think the cream sours would taste better covered in white chocolate rather than milk or semi sweetened chocolate. It’s a more neutral flavour.

I feel your struggle Julia! Every time I make purple frosting it’s an ugly purple. I use red and blue and that happens. That stinks the malic acid changes the color. Hopefully you can figure it out. 🤞
