I’ve been carnivore for a little over a year: Crohn’s disease gone, arthritis gone, asthma gone, endometriosis gone, eye sight has improved, skin tags gone, don’t need to use deodorant anymore, no more anxiety/panic attacks, so much more energy and strength, and I’ve lost 61 pounds. Before carnivore I ate like you, a whole food diet with lots of fruits and veggies. Occasionally now I do cheat with olives! On special celebration days I have a small serving of raspberries with heavy whipping cream.

My husband and I started eating carnivore two weeks ago. I’ve noticed that I’m not having tooth pain anymore and I don’t get the painful abdominal bloat I always used to get after eating pasta or bread or large amounts of vegetables. My knee that I hyperextended four months ago seems to finally be healing. I have broken out in some keto rash but it’s not too bad and really not itchy so I’m not concerned. I tried doing keto last year and found it so difficult keeping track of carbs, proteins, and fats and I don’t think I ever made it into ketosis. Carnivore is so much simpler. My husband doesn’t understand how anyone can not eat vegetables, he thinks they are necessary for fiber, even though I haven’t fed him any for two weeks. It’s so backwards from the way we’ve been taught all our lives.

I got the rash as well. Apparently it’s oxalate dumping. Went away after a few months.

I’m a home school mom (23 years now) and started carnivore six month ago after a lifetime of plant based (I am 45 years old.). It has changed everything, I am stronger and healthier than I ever was as a vegetarian and also plant based. It has truly shocked me. PS I’ve been a fan of your channel for a long time!

Dr. Ken Berry has great information on carnivore eating he calls it the Proper Human Diet. My husband and I have been eating ketovore for the past 2 years no grain very low-carb vegetables and high-fat meats. I lost 65 pounds at 69 yo and he lost 125 pounds at 65 yo, we both no longer need blood pressure pills, or statins, he is no longer diabetic but I still need anti-inflammatories for my rheumatoid arthritis and I still have a thyroid issue I am taking Synthroid for until I figure a way around it. He has so much more energy, me, I wish, but I also suffer from SI joint tightness and no change in eating is going to fix that so I deal. Congratulations on feeling better!

I've been keto "religiously" for one year this month. Went hard core keto ONLY because I was having IBS issues. After only one week, I had NO IBS issues. I can now tolerate a treat on a very rare occasion. I probably could do more sugar at this point BUT I feel so, so good with EXCELLENT lipid panels that I've decided to keep sugar out of my lifestyle so I can keep health in it. Thanks for sharing! I may even give carnivore a try now. Btw, Dr. Ken Berry is great to follow for carnivore questions/advice on YT. ❤

Love love. I do a modified carnivore diet and am so much healthier for it. Trying to get Travis on it too to heal some gut issues but he's reluctant because he has ideas about beef (that aren't true) and thinks it may be bad for our bodies. I'm trying to tell him if he wants to avoid the health issues his dad has, he needs to go carnivore and dominantly beef/dairy.

I was keto for years and then carnivore and honestly swing back and forth. I admit to getting bored after awhile eating carnivore and I still have to cook veggies for my family, so occasionally I eat them too. Anyway, all this to say that my dentist told me that she's never seen anyone else with no plaque. And I used to have horrible plaque build up and had to have my teeth cleaned every 4 months. Now if only my gums would heal.

I've seen the videos of Jordan Peterson too and I personally think eating carnivore works like a detoxification or fasting cure of the body. You can do that for a short time, but I think God gave us plenty of food for a reason and your intestinals need plant fibres too 😌 for me it's too onesided and if I think about how many animals would habe been slaughtered for me, I wouldn't feel good about that, but I'm very happy to hear that you are feeling good and that's what matters! I like all of your videos very much!! ❤ love from Germany!

When I went meat based (I used to eat a plant based diet), it was so hard to get over the emotions of it. However, more animals are killed in plant based food production than simply eating meat. It’s just people often don’t consider the types of animals killed in fields as being worthy of care. No matter what we do, we simply have to find what works for our own bodies and hearts.
@itzakpoelzig330
@itzakpoelzig330 5 ай бұрын
Humans don't need fiber. Dr. Chaffee has made videos clearly explaining the science of that misconception . And if you knew how many animals are killed in the production of plant-based foods, you would be horrified. It's infinitely kinder and better for the planet to kill one cow and live off of that for months, than to spray pesticides everywhere, poison all the bees and frogs, run over mice and birds with automated harvesters, etc. I used to work at a winery, and we killed thousands of rabbits and small birds, and probably millions of insects and spiders, in order to produce our wine, which most people would consider a vegan product. By the way, the spiders were killed in the crushers, meaning all of their fluids went into the wine...

I do have a question about the affordability of it for your family. I know you are in the U.S and I’m in Australia and although you have 10 children and I have 11 you now only have 5 people to buy meat for. Is it the same as when you ate non carnivore, cheaper or more expensive. The cost of meat is what holds me back from introducing this to my children AND I have no access to raw dairy currently.
@darciisabella
@darciisabella 5 ай бұрын
Our local grocery stores have meat and fish on sale certain days of the week and that's when we go. Marked down enough that we find eating this way cheaper than we were buying all the other food.
@itzakpoelzig330
@itzakpoelzig330 5 ай бұрын
You can also buy a "cow-share" so that half or a third of a cow belongs to you. Very economical if you have the freezer space. People also sell cow shares for milk, so that you become part owner and receive a fraction of a cow's milk output. Again, cheaper than buying from the store and much cleaner. The Weston A. Price Foundation helps people to find cow shares near them. I've never tried to do that in Australia, but they might have the info you need.

We (my husband and me) did carnivore diet last year for a month, and I can tell you that it was actually little cheaper, because I would closely watch what I buy, I still bought vegetables and fruits for five children, but no sweets or treats for them, so I wouldn’t get tempted to eat it. 😜 And we were under budget for that month.

From what I've read in regards to fiber, is that we've been mislead into believing that it's necessary. There are books, blogs and doctors talking about this online. I'm currently reading a book called, "Toxic Super Foods" which covers the why. Regarding the vitamins, many people have been on this diet for years and their vitamin levels have been optimal, including vitamin C. As for the cost, we've come to find it's actually less for the 5 of us. This might be due to my husband going on days that they have the meat/fish on sale. 😄 www.amazon.com/gp/product/0593139585/

I'm trying to discern for myself if I should do another year of gaps diet like I did 8 years ago with great results, or do a carnivore version of gaps, by still having fermented raw dairy, but not the plant based "gaps" friendly thing like: berries and coconut oil etc. You've done gaps before, and now carnivore... can you compare those experiences for us?

Will you still grow a garden? I have a huge established garden, and the idea of it all being for just the chickens and goats seems sad to me. I enjoy growing and storing pantry staples: potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions, garlic, pumpkins, homemade salsas. Food has become a way of life for me, and I know I can't raise enough slaughterable red meat on my land to replace all the calories we get from ample goats milk and the garden goodies. Surely you have had this mental struggle too. It's not as simple as changing our grocery list when we've invested so much of our lives/time/land into growing our own groceries.

@ahandmadehomestead
@ahandmadehomestead 5 ай бұрын
I have been reading about histamine intolerance and it sounds like I have that for sure. However, dr Ben Lynch says to limit protein and meat because it causes histamine. I’m guessing you haven’t found that true for yourself because you are doing carnivore, correct?
@darciisabella
@darciisabella 5 ай бұрын
@@ahandmadehomesteadFresh meat and fish are okay but aged/cured meat is high in histamines. So I've had no problem with fresh meat and fish. There is definitely food on carnivore that I can only eat in moderation otherwise I'm in pain (like bacon and cheese, both aged food). Also since finding out I have this, I've read that beef kidney has an enzyme called DAO, which those of us with histamine intolerance, don't make enough of. So I've ordered it in desiccated form to see if it works. 👍

Please don’t answer if this is too personal or inappropriate. Part of me feels this question is going to come off as super judgmental but I’m not meaning it that way. What about Holy Communion? No worries! I'm happy to answer and I probably should have made that clearer in the video. I absolutely still take Holy Communion. The only time I couldn't was during a period of about 5 months due to my severe reaction to grain. But I can't eat grain other than Holy Communion. ✝

First of all not everyone has such an intense reaction to grain. I have had no issues with Communion and I attend daily Mass. If I was metabolically healthy I’d add fruit but only limited amount and lowest carb ( hopefully in future) . God stated in Genesis -“ I give you the fruit for your food and leaves for your medicine”. So Gods love is in all fruits he’s given us but firmly believe man has poisoned much of it so need to grow it yourself or buy from small local organic farmer. Only in season fruits.
