I wish I had wilderness like that near to where I live Mike, I would have to travel hundreds of miles to get anything like that, near me it's all flatlands, saltmarsh & cultivated farmland!! I plan to do something like this but I would have to be really creative to make it seem plausible & these videos inspire me & make me more determined to get out there & do it for myself. I noticed on some english wild camping vids how open your country is, nothing like we have here. Only half an hour or so and we are in the bush and you get to see no one.. perfect 👌🏾 Nice to get out of the comfort zone for a few days Paul 🙂

Kia ora cuzz. I lived in the Gold Coast oz for 11yrs bloody getting hotter. So I’ve moved to burnie Tasmania. Ahhhhh that’s better. Getting cold here now. Growing my own Kia. Puha garden they are growing. I’m just moving them to one patch though.Meats expensive here.I drive to Longford butchery. Cheap pork bones. Blinking 1.5hr away so I buy bulk. Anyway seen every episode maybe 2 or 3. Ive subscribed to you. clay, piri and James. Just hunting watercress now. Lol! Chur

yeah the boys...was this before we went up? when we were up there, there was two girls at the hut and they walked up to that slip without crossing the river, I guess there is a track behind the trappers hut 🤷🏻‍♂️

Definitely got to be careful around the wild dogs, there are trampers around here sometimes as well

The list of wild dog attacks would substantiate that assertion. Some will behave aggressively. But attacks seem limited to the wild dogs found around towns or lifestyle areas, or pig hunters problem bred mongrels. Getting rid of wild dogs anywhere has much merit. they have caused major damage to stock and wildlife, few know the historical carnage. In the wild, eradicating needs to be done competently, like much pest control it is often butchered by those less expert than their CV, and toey wild dogs are really hard, particularly given the current limits on poison use.
