2 PRV 200 6.5s LOUD!

Did a little distance shot of my 2 PRV 6.5s in the factory location, with FT1 Crescendo Super Tweeters in the factory location as well! This is my daily car, so keeping it clean and factory was a must. I have a Rockford 50x4 ran at 2 ohm per channel.... it's powering the Super Tweeters, and the 6.5s.
I do not own the rights to this song, all rights go to August Alaina.

I just bought 4- PRV 6-1/2 to go in my Lexus gs. I'm not impressed yet with the sound and I think its because I don't have any (Hi & Mids). So I'm considering going with prv 3.5 tweeters or JBL GTO-19T. Clarity is my main focus. Hearing the symbols, hi-hats, chimes. Not just being loud. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thxs!

@@foodforthought872 F'n Duhhh!! These are midrange speakers... 155 - 11,000 Hz, some only go to 8,000hz. That's a lot of upper range left out, yes you need tweeters and you'll need some kind of woofer or subs as well.

Use nb1 tweeters for highs And yes u can use thr same speakers for the rear

Power acoustic tweeters are always a go to and usually fit in stock mounting locations

Are you using a crossover for the prv mids? I know they only handle frequencys of 145- 6500 I believe.. curious because I want to do the same setup.

Hey bro, I have some prv Brazil, but I have a problem, at loud volumes when I raise the bass it pops and cracks. Am not experienced in car audio, can u help me out?

josiah912 would be harddddd to try and figure out with out being able to see it. It could be something wrong with the actual amplifier powering the subwoofers, or the source unit sending the signal to the amplifier bad.

Prv 6.5s should not be played below 160 hz brother. These things are not neant for low bass. They sound amazing though! Good luck

he probably bridged the amp to 2 channel and ran the teeters and mids that way so they were separate and got more power but couldn't force his amp being two stable using it bridged at 2 ohms that's usually not a good idea but not unheard of...

thats a high pass. I'm talking about the low pass where it filters out higher frequencies meant for tweeters usually around 2500-5000hz for midrange.

Sounds ok, not too loud. I beleive the 200s are 100 watt rms, they do sound good though they have a little bit more kick than other mids

Ray Rosales i bought a pair yesterday i lile them! only reason i say they arent too loud is because i mixed them with 2 massive audio m6's in my car and massives are much louder but the prvs have more low end
